Our Mission

In memory of Little Rique, the biggest little cat there ever was.

WE BELIEVE THAT IMPROVING OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH ORPHAN ANIMALS DEPENDS ON COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT AND ENRICHMENT

Our mission is to make the world a little safer for the most vulnerable populations in our community. While our focus is primarily on neonatal, mobility challenged and incontinent kittens, we know that the impact of education in this space will reach far beyond just fragile felines.

We believe it is possible to take both a compassionate and strategic approach to raising kittens - which means we will always look for new ways to provide the best care possible. We understand that many veterinarians are not going to have a ton of experience with these kittens, but we are dedicated to building a network of open-minded care givers who are committed to learning along with us.

We will work not just to find these babies loving forever homes, but to help educate veterinarians, shelter staff, volunteers, and pet parents about how to provide stellar preventative care for pets with seemingly complex needs, and hopefully reduce instances of unnecessary euthanasia of mobility challenged and incontinent animals.
